Revlon Peachy and Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure

Today I ignored all the shimmery polishes that were calling to me and I picked out a creme as I fanced something different. The creme I picked was Peachy, a Revlon Top Speed polish, it's a pale pinky orange or orangey pink lol, it's like they took a pastel colour and added more pigment to make it a bit brighter.

My poor camera couldn't cope with the colour so I've had to adjust the photos, I really wish my camera would behave itself!

Nail Mail - Vintage Rimmel Haul

Today's a nail mail post, my amazing boyfriend treated me to some polish, I got a load of stuff that I just had to share with you. This post is going to feature the vintage Rimmels I got.
Please be warned this post is picture heavy!

Now as I've mentioned previously I love Revlons, but I also have quite a soft spot for Rimmel as it was one of the first brands of make up I ever bought. There are a couple of oldies that I'm hunting for, but I'd quite like to get all the old ones, they have made some great polishes over the years (although they're pretty dull right now).

I spotted a job lot of 14 Rimmels on ebay, I hadn't seen some of the names before, but  I could see from the photo there were a few nice colours so I thought I'd take a chance on them. There was a bit of a bidding war, but I managed to get them all for £10 including P&P, not bad for 14 polishes!

Enough talking about them, here's some photos for you.

April's first nail polish haul

Picture heavy post alert!

Today I've got another haul post for you, as I went into town and checked out all the pound shops for nail polish bargains, needless to say I went home a happy little nail polish addict! :-)

I hope you don't mind haul posts, personally I love seeing what goodies fellow bloggers have found, and I'm more than happy to swatch stuff if there's any you fancy and can't find a swatch online.

I also like to show you stuff that you can get for cheap and as the pound shops change what nail polish is in stock quite often, it's good to know what's in store.

Right, enough waffling, on to the polish...

My camera couldn't capture Red Hot Tamale, it's a bright red rather than the weird orange in this photo.

Revlon Radiant & China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara - Nail Polish Review

I thought I'd have some bling on my nails so I decided some glitter was in order.

The polishes I picked were Revlon's Radiant and China Glaze's Lorelei's Tiara. I love Revlon and was really happy to see that some of the US range had made it's way to the UK and Radiant was one of them. My bottle of Radiant is from the US, and I think it the glitter is slightly different to the UK version, the UK glitter seems slightly curved where as the US glitter is flat, the colours the same, so the only difference between the two should be the UK needing extra top coat to smooth it out.

I thought these two would look good together both have blue and silver in them, I hadn't done an accent nail before but I thought it looked really cool, although my boyfriend wasn't impressed by it!

Nail Mail From America

I got the best parcel yesterday, it contains 5 Revlon polishes from the US, one of which the ebay seller included for free, which was such a lovely thing for her to do.

Now, I really love Revlons, and really hate that The US get so many cool Revlon polishes that I can only get via ebay, but some are so pretty I just had to get them, luckily I found a lovely seller, and hopefully she'll be finding me more polish to buy in the future.

Anyway, here's some photos of my goodies.

Bargain Nail Polish - Models Own Smash Up Silver

Hey,

I hope everyone had a good weekend, the weather was lovely here, and I certainly made the most of it, I managed to cut a load of Brambles out of my garden, if was hard work but worth it.

Yesterday I went into Boots for a window shopping session, and after looking at the Revlon nail polish range and thinking how dull it is compared to what other countries get (I would love to live in the U.S just so I could get all the lovely Revlons they have there), I had a look at the reduced section which usually has nothing much to excite anyone, but I saw a lovely bottle of Models Own Smash Up in Silver, and best of all it was £1.50! It was still sealed so the only reason I can think it was there was that that store didn't sell Models Own, so it must have been a return. I grabbed it and there was no way I was letting it go, it's my first Models Own polish so I'm excited to see how it compares to the Barry M crackles.

I also picked up two Maybelline eye shadows in the bargain bin, one was a duo and the other was a quad, I don't really wear much make up as I'm not very good at putting it on, but I'm looking forward to trying them out as I've not used their make up before and they look really pretty.
I'm really happy with my bargain buys, and I'm looking forward to testing them out. Have you found any bargains lately?

Cheerio for now.
